God's Plan
The Problem . . .

Statement of Faith
  1. All Scripture is inspired by God and is without error in the original manuscripts.  The Scripture
    is the authority in all matters of faith and conduct.  It is also interpreted by its context using
    normal language.  (II Timothy 3:16)
  2. We believe in the Trinity-that God is one in three persons; that each person is God; that Christ
    is both fully God & Man.  (John 1)
  3. We believe in the existence of angels, demons & Satan.  We believe that sin originated in
    Satan.  (Ezekiel 28)
  4. We believe in the creation of man as sinless; & that man has fallen & is thus totally depraved.  
    (Genesis 2; Romans 3)
  5. The church is the present day dispensation for this age; & It is a unity as the body of Christ.  
    (Ephesians 1, 3; Matthew 16)
  6. We believe that Christ came to earth as a man, though He was fully God, & died as a
    substitution for mans as a payment of the penalty of sin.  And that salvation is only through
    Christ.  (John 1, 3)  A man is saved by placing his trust or faith in Christ alone & not by human
    work or goodness.  (Ephesians 2)
  7. We do not practice the charismatic gifts in this church, such as tongues, prophesies and
    healings.  We also believe that God still works miracles in our present day according to His
    will.  (I Corinthians 13; Acts 4)
  8. The Lord's supper and baptism are ordinances that should still be practiced by the church.  
    (Acts 10, I Corintians 11)
  9. We believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church and in the pre-millenial return of Christ to
    earth with His saints.  (I Thessalonians 4; Matthew 24; Revaltions 20)
  10. We believe in a judgement of believers for rewards.  (I Corinthians 3)  Unbelievers will be
    judged by their works & condemned to eternal doom in the lake of fire.
