CLUB COSTS

Annual Dues:

   1 child.................................................. $30/year

   2 children............................................. $45/year

   3 or more children............................... $60/year

(Dues include one new handbook per year per child. Additional handbooks and Awana uniforms can be

purchased for an additional cost.)

   As an alternative option, if you prefer paying week by week, the cost of club would be $1/week/child.

   Money must be collected before uniform can be given. A uniform could last for 1-3 years, depending on where the clubber begins. For Sparks only, uniforms in good condition can be traded in for half price credit.

Dear Parents:

   We are pleased to have your child(ren) in our Awana Clubs! It is a privilege to work together with you in the spiritual, mental, social, and physical training of your child.

   This year’s Awana clubs start on Wednesday, September 2, with Registration; and end on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 with Awards Night. With the exception of dates mentioned in the “Special Dates” section, club runs from 6:25-8 p.m. every Wednesday night. Clubbers should not arrive before 6:15 p.m. and should check in with one of the secretaries in the foyer before going to their designated areas.

   Continuing clubbers should bring their handbook from last year as they will continue working from where they left off. For those club members in transition from one club to another, new handbooks will be arranged. New clubbers must complete an entrance booklet. After doing so, they may become an official member of the Awana Club and are eligible to purchase a uniform and begin working on sections in the regular club handbooks.

   We look forward to working with you and your child(ren) and invite you to contact Commanders, Directors, or any staff member with any questions or concerns you might have.

 

 

OTHER GUIDELINES/INFORMATION

 

1. Please bring your child(ren) to the front door when dropping them off and pick them up at the door when leaving. Please notify staff in advance if someone other than yourself will be picking up your child(ren).

2. Parents and clubbers should address staff by Mr., Mrs., Miss, Pastor, etc.

3. Although it is not mandatory to purchase or wear a uniform, we encourage clubbers to do so as soon as they are eligible (after passing entrance booklet). To receive awards, clubbers must be wearing a uniform the night the award is presented.

4. Throughout the year, “Parents’ Nights” will be scheduled to give parents a chance to come to club with their child(ren) and see firsthand the activities they are involved in; however, please feel free to stay and shadow your child(ren) on any club night.

AWANA CANCELLATION POLICY

There will be no Awana on any Wednesday that Elkhorn Public Schools is not in session. If for some other reason it becomes necessary to cancel Awana on short notice, every effort will be made to contact you prior to the Clubs’ normal start time.
